Workshop wheel throwing – 6 weeks on Wednesday at 6.30-8.30 from May 7th: Level 2 in English by Marina
During the wheel course “Level 2” you will delve deeper into feeling the clay, exploring how specific movements influence the shape of your piece. The course focuses on developing strategic planning skills, helping you better understand the steps required to achieve your desired form.
You will master your centering technique, build confidence in pulling up the walls, and enhance your trimming skills. You will also learn how to create a simple spout for jugs or milk pots, as well as exploring various decorative techniques.
This course is ideal for those who have completed a beginner’s course or have prior experience with fundamental pottery skills such as centering clay, building walls, shaping pieces, and trimming. It provides an opportunity to grow your skills and boost your confidence in pottery craftsmanship.
The workshop will be given in English by a very experienced ceramic artist Marina.
