Deze 5-weekse cursus is speciaal voor beginners die stap voor stap willen leren draaien. De lessen worden zowel in het Nederlands als het Engels gegeven.
In een kleine groep van maximaal 6 cursisten leer je de basis van het werken op de draaischijf: centreren, openen, optrekken, vormgeven en afdraaien. In de laatste les maak je kennis met glazuren en werk je je stukken verder af.
Door de kleine groep is er veel ruimte voor persoonlijke begeleiding en kun je in je eigen tempo werken. Je hebt geen eerdere ervaring nodig.
Materialen, klei, glazuur en het bakken van maximaal 4 werkstukken zijn bij de prijs inbegrepen. Een gemiste les kan vanwege de korte duur van de cursus helaas niet worden ingehaald.

Je hoeft alleen een eigen schort en een kleine handdoek mee te nemen.

This 5-week wheel throwing course is designed especially for beginners. The course is taught by ceramic artist Jida. With plenty of personal attention and guidance, she will teach you the foundations of wheel throwing step by step. Classes are taught in both Dutch and English.
In a small group of maximum 6 participants, you will learn the foundations of working on the wheel step by step: centering, opening, pulling up the walls, shaping and trimming. In the final lesson, you will also be introduced to glazing and finishing your pieces.
The small group allows plenty of room for personal guidance, and you can work at your own pace. No previous experience is needed.
Clay, materials, glazing and the firing of up to 4 pieces are included in the price. Due to the short duration of the course, missed classes unfortunately cannot be made up.
