Get to know handbuilding with clay in a single afternoon. Under the guidance of visual artist Hanna Orion, a graduate of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, you make your own bowl, cup or dish. Hanna shows you various basic techniques and helps you step by step to turn a simple shape into something of your own. No experience needed.
Afterwards we dry your work, give it a bisque firing and finish it with a transparent glaze. After about three weeks it is ready to collect.
Included: clay, materials, glaze, two firings and coffee/tea with something sweet.
The workshop is taught in both Dutch and English and goes ahead with a minimum of 4 participants.
