In this ceramics workshop in Amsterdam you’ll get to know the craft in a relaxed way. Under guidance, you’ll work at the wheel in our studio and learn the basics of throwing. Step by step you shape your own bowl or cup, discovering how calming and surprising working with clay can be.
We work with a maximum of six participants, so there is plenty of room for personal guidance and attention to everyone’s work.
After throwing, you give your piece a personal finish with ceramic pigments. We then take care of drying, two firings and a transparent glaze, so your piece becomes sturdy, usable and watertight. Once fired, you can collect your piece from the studio.
The workshop is open to international participants; guidance can be given in English if you prefer.
